The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal grant activity of Clinical & Support Options, Inc. and Subsidiaries under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2025. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Clinical & Support Options, Inc. and Subsidiaries it is not intended to and does not present the consolidated financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Clinical & Support Options, Inc. and Subsidiaries.
Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
Clinical & Support Options, Inc. and Subsidiaries have elected not to use the 10-15 percent de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
Expenditures of federal awards for funds passed through state agencies is based on information provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Operational Services Division.
The Organization participates in a federal loan program administered by the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities under the ARPA-State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. These loans are for the purpose of acquiring, constructing and renting affordable housing. Loans outstanding at the beginning of the year and loans made during the year are reported as federal expenditures on the Schedule. These loans are subject to continuing compliance requirements to operate the affordable housing properties according to the terms and conditions of the respective agreements. The Organization records these loans as liabilities in its consolidated financial statements. No interest will be charged and no monthly payments of principal is required provided the property is not sold or transferred prior to the expiration date. The Organization is responsible for administering the program in compliance with federal regulations.
