Notes to SEFA
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal and state awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal and state activity of Central Texas Community Health Centers, Inc. (dba and hereinafter referred to as “CommUnityCare”), a component unit of Travis County Healthcare District (dba Central Health), under programs for the federal and state government for the year ended September 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (“Uniform Guidance”), and Texas Grant Management Standards (“TxGMS”). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of CommUnityCare, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in operations and net assets, or cash flows of CommUnityCare.
Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles in the Uniform Guidance and TxGMS, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowed or are limited as to reimbursement. Therefore, some amounts presented in this Schedule may differ from amounts presented in or used in the preparation of the financial statements. CommUnityCare has elected not to use the de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
