Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal award activity of Pickens County, South Carolina and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of the Uniform Guidance. Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in, the preparation of the financial statements.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: Under the provisions of the Uniform Guidance, the County is permitted to use a 10% de minimis indirect cost rate. The County elected not to use this rate.
Federal grant money received is sometimes passed through to subrecipients. During the year ended June 30, 2022, there were no subrecipients.
