Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (Schedule) includes the federal activity of theFruitvale Independent School District and is presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. Expenditures arerecognized in the accounting period in which a fund liability occurs. Funds are considered earned to the extent ofexpenditures made.The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of FederalRegulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for FederalAwards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the District,it is not intended to and does not present the financial position or changes in net position of the District. Therefore,some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in or used in the preparation of thebasic financial statements.
