Notes to SEFA
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards and selected state assistance (schedule) presents the activity of all federal awards programs of the Newport School District (District). The District’s reporting entity is defined in Note 1 to the District's basic financial statements. Federal awards received directly from federal agencies, as well as federal awards passed through other government agencies, are included on the schedule.
State matching funds for the Free/Reduced Lunch and Severe Need Breakfast Programs are included on the schedule at the request of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
