Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported in the SEFSA are reported on the modified accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognizedfollowing the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited asto reimbursement.
