Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards presents the activity of all of the federal financial assistance programs of the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (the District) for the year ended June 30, 2025. The District’s reporting entity is defined in Note 1 to the District’s financial statements. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards is prepared using the modified accrual basis of accounting, which is described in Note 1 to the District’s financial statements.
Federal award expenditures agree or can be reconciled with the amounts reported in the District’s basic financial statements.
The District has elected not to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate applicable for the period July 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024, and has also elected not use the 15 percent de minimis indirect cost rate applicable for the period October 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, as allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
