The federal awards passed through the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit, Under the U.S. Department of Education heading, is part of a consortium of participating school districts. In accordance with directions from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education, these awards are reported on the basic financial statements as local source revenue.
The 2025 threshold for determining Type A programs is $750,000. Two Type B programs were audited as major programs. The amount expended under programs audited as major federal programs for the year ended June 30, 2025, totaled $228,456 or 23.37% of total federal awards.
