Texas State University (University) is a doctoral-granting, student-centered institution dedicated to excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and services. The University is a public university located in San Marcos, Texas and Round Rock, Texas that opened in 1899. The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards Under the Student Financial Assistance Cluster presents only the Student Financial Assistance Cluster (Title IV Awards) paid during the year, and does not present any other activity of the University.
BASIS OF ACCOUNTING The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards Under the Student Financial Assistance Cluster is prepared on the accrual basis of accounting in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. CONTRACTS Government contracts are recognized as revenue as services are performed as required by the contracts. INDIRECT COST RATE The University did not elect to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate.
The University has evaluated subsequent events as of the date of the Independent Accountant’s Report, the date the report was available to be issued.
