Accounting Policies: NOTE 1---SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIESNature of OrganizationHamilton County Coalition, Inc., (the Organization) is a not-for-profit corporation organized in the State of Tennessee on February 26, 2008 with a purpose to provide indirect, universal comprehensive strategies to affect change in Hamilton County and in Region 3 South. The Coalition will also provide technical support, sustainability, leadership and guidance to its members and community partners. The Coalition will also administer opportunities and benefits associated within the designated as a target site, which will result in the reduction and onset of alcohol and illicit substance use and/or abuse. Basis of PresentationThe accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the "Schedule") includes the federal grant expenditure activity of the Organization for the year ended December 31, 2022, and is presented using the accrual basis of accounting. The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Uniform Guidance Audits of State local governments and non-profit entities, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ.
