Notes to SEFA

Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. The Schedule does not include matching amounts that Easter Seals NH expends in connection with its federal programs. The categorization of expenditures by program included in the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards is based upon the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA). Easter Seals NH has elected to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance. Easter Seals NH affiliates that received federal awards that are included in the Schedule include Manchester Alcoholism Rehabilitation Center, Easter Seals Maine, Inc., and Easter Seals Vermont, Inc.
