Of the federal expenditures presented in the accompanying Schedule, Scripps Research provided federal awards to subrecipients totaling $55.4 million. This amount does not include estimated subrecipient expenses of $10.1 million, which are included in accounts payable and accrued expenses at September 30, 2025, for which invoices have not yet been received.
The credit balances in the Schedule relate to funds that were expended in prior years and refunded in fiscal year 2025.
