Notes to SEFA
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal award activity of Ellis Early Learning, Inc. (the “Organization”) under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (the “Uniform Guidance”). The Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization; therefore, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, functional expenses or cash flows of the Organization.
The Organization receives funding from federal agencies under unit-rate and costreimbursement contracts. Revenues from cost-reimbursement contracts are recognized as expenditures are incurred in accordance with the terms of the respective agreements.
For the year ended June 30, 2025, the Organization did not receive any non-cash awards, mortgages or loan funds that should be included in the federal expenditures presented in this Schedule.
