The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the schedule) includes the federal award activity of Pee Dee Regional Council of Governments under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2025. The information on this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Pee Dee Regional Council of Governments, it is not intended and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Pee Dee Regional Council of Governments.
(1) Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
(2) Pee Dee Regional Council of Governments has not elected to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
Grant provisions allow for reimbursement of depreciation on fixed assets acquired by General Fund monies; therefore, it is reflected in expenditures for grant reimbursement purposes. Depreciation allocated to federal awards is as follows: Department of Commerce $1,929, Department of Labor $7,636, Department of Treasury $1,424, Department of Transporation $1,279, Southeast Crescent Regional Commission $727 Total $12,995.
