The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal and state awards (the "Schedule") includes the federal and state award activity of Community Services and Employment Training, Inc. (the Organization) under programs of the federal and state governments for the year ended June 30, 2025. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of the Organization.
The $2,982,940 reported on the schedule of expenditures of federal and state awards for the Special Programs for the Aging Title III and Title VII (aka Senior Center) Programs includes $265,633 of matching contributions and are required by the grant agreement to be used for program services and included as federal awards.
The City of Visalia made a loan to the Organization under its Community Development Block Grant. This loan program was included in the federal expenditures presented in the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State Awards for the year received.
