The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards presents the activity of all applicable federal award activity of Health Opportunities for the People of East Texas, Inc., (the Center) under programs of the federal government for the year ended February 28, 2025. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Health Opportunities for the People of East Texas, Inc. it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Health Opportunities for the People of East Texas, Inc.
Federal financial assistance programs are reported in the Center’s basic financial statements as support. Total federal financial assistance per the accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards does not include monies received as cost reimbursement for services provided to Medicaid and Medicare eligible recipients.
