Accounting Policies: A NOTE BASIS OF PRESENTATION the accompanying schedules of expenditures of federal state awards include the federal and state awards activity of Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center,Inc.(a nonprofit organization) and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in these schedules are presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulation part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and State of Texas Audit Circular. Because the schedules present only a selected portion of the operations of Easter Seal Rehabilitation Center, Inc.{a nonprofit organization) they are not intended to and do not present the financial position, changes in net assets or cash flows of Easter Sea l Rehabilitation Center, Inc.(a nonprofit organization). SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES Expenditures reported on the Schedules are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Easter Sea l Rehabilitation Center, Inc. {a nonprofit '. organization)has elected not to use the 10-persent deminmis cost rate allowed under uniform guidance.
