The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of Vision Ed, Inc. under programs of the federal government for the year ended January 31, 2025. The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Vision Ed, Inc., it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Vision Ed, Inc.
General The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards presents all activity of all federal award programs for the year ended January 31, 2025. Federal awards received directly from federal agencies as well as federal awards passed through other government agencies are included on the Schedule. Basis of Accounting Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements. Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Indirect Cost Rate The Organization has elected not to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the uniform guidance. Indirect costs may be included in the reported expenditures, to the extent that they are included in the federal financial reports used as the source for the data presented. The Organization’s policy is to charge federal award programs with indirect costs as allowed in the grant budget.
