Notes to SEFA
The accompanying schedules of expenditures of federal awards are presented in accordance with 2 CFR section 200.510(b) and represent the financial activity of City of Green Forest, Arkansas Water and Waste Water Department for the year ended December 31, 2024. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of City of Green Forest, Arkansas Water and Waste Water Department, it is not intended to and does not present the net position, changes in net position, or cash flows of City of Green Forest, Arkansas Water and Waste Water Department.
These schedules are prepared on the accrual basis of accounting and include all applicable federal awards received and expended during the year, with a focus on the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
The Department was approved by the EPA and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to receive bonds up to $2,521,689. The balance at the end of the period was $1,154,730. See the Notes to the SEFA for chart/table
City of Green Forest, Arkansas Water and Waste Water Department has elected not to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
