The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal award activity of Union Community Health Center, Inc., under programs of the federal government for the year ended December 31, 2024. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of Union Community Health Center, Inc., it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, results of operations, changes in net assets, or cash flows of Union Community Health Center, Inc.
Union Community Health Center, Inc. did not have any federal loan programs during the year ended December 31, 2024.
During the year ended December 31, 2024, Union Community Health Center, Inc. participated in the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Immunization Cooperative Agreements through the evaluations of need and distribution of vaccines. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has determined that such vaccines are considered “property in lieu of money” and, accordingly, should be considered part of the sub-grant award received by Union Community Health Center, Inc. The value of the vaccines redeemed under the Immunization Cooperative Agreements program is classified as non-cash assistance in the Schedule.
