Title: Description of Major Federal Program
Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards includes the federal grant activity of the Association and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the financial statements.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: The Association did not elect to use the de minimis rate of 10 percent for the year ended December 31, 2024.
The major federal program of the Association is the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) (93.558).
The purpose of the TANF is to provide assistance to needy families with children so that children can be cared for in their own homes or in the homes of relatives; end the dependence of needy parents on government benefits by promoting job preparation, work and marriage.
