Title: NOTE 1 - SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal grant activity
of Firefly Children and Family Alliance, Inc. and Firefly Children and Family Alliance Foundation, Inc. (the
Organizations). The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S.
Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit
Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of
the operations of the Organizations, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in
operations, or cash flows of the Organizations. In addition, some amounts presented in the Schedule may differ
from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the consolidated financial statements.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: The Organizations have not elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform
Guidance except for Assistance Listing No. 93.670 Child Abuse and Neglect Discretionary Activities.

Subrecipients: The Organizations provided no funds to subrecipients in 2024.
