Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in OMB Circular A-87, Cost Principles for State, Local and Indian Tribal Governments, and Title 2, U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), where certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as the reimbursement. The District has elected not to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The auditee did not apply any cost rate. All cost were direct costs. The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (Schedule) includes the federal grant activity of the State of New Mexico El Prado Water & Sanitation District (District) and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Costs Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).
