The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of the Livingston Parish Sewer District under programs of the federal government for the year ended December 31 , 2024. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Par 200., Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the District it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position or cash flow of the District.

Title: Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursements. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: No indirect costs were used. The District's Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards includes $3,000,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds passed through the Livingston Parish Council. The Livingston Parish Council did not approve these funds to go to the District until 2024. The funds were to reimburse the District for amounts expensed from 2022 through 2024. The District expensed $1,088,129 in 2022, $1,533,639 in 2023, and $375,232 in 2024.
