The major federal programs of the Organization are the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (21.027) and Pandemic Relief Activities: Local Food Purchase Agreements with States, Tribes, and Local Governments (10.182). The purpose of the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund is to provide assistance to respond to the public health emergency, COVID-19 or its negative economic impacts. The purpose of the Pandemic Relief Activities: Local Food Purchase Agreements with States, Tribes, and Local Governments grant is to strengthen local and regional food system and establish and broaden partnerships with producers and the food distribution community.
