Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance and Chapter 10.650, Rules of the Auditor General, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement, as applicable. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: N/A The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards and State Financial Assistance (the “Schedule”) includes the grant activity of the Florida Independence Training & Education Center, Inc. (the “Organization”) under programs of the federal government for the year ended December 31, 2024. The information in the Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and Chapter 10.650, Rules of the Florida Auditor General. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the Organization, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position, or cash flows of the Organization.

In the opinion of management, all grant and contract expenditures are in compliance with the terms of the grant/contract agreements and applicable state laws and other regulations.
