Title: Purpose of schedules - Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards
Accounting Policies: Our audit was conducted for the purpose of forming an opinion on the financial statements as a whole. The supplementary information listed in the table of contents, including the schedule of expenditures of federal awards, as required by Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, is presented for purposes of additional analysis and is not a required part of the financial statements. Such information is the responsibility of management and was derived from and relates directly to the underlying accounting and other records used to prepare the financial statements. The information has been subjected to the auditing procedures applied in the audit of the financial statements and certain additional procedures, including comparing and reconciling such information directly to the underlying accounting and other records used to prepare the financial statements or to the financial statements themselves, and other additional procedures in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America. In our opinion, the information is fairly stated in all material respects in relation to the financial statements as a whole.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: As the agency authorized by the United States Department of Education to approve California kindergarten through grade twelve (K–12) local educational agency (LEA) indirect cost rates, the California Department of Education (CDE) has reviewed the 2023–24 standardized account code structure (SACS) expenditure data and has finalized the approved indirect cost rates. The rates are for use, as allowable, with 2023-24 federal and state programs. As such the charter may not use the de minimis rate.
