The information on this Schedule is prepared in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the School District of Springfield Township, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position, or cash flows of the School District of Springfield Township. Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures may or may not be allowable or may be limited as to reimbursement. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The School District of Springfield Township did not elect to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania distributes federal surplus food to institutions (schools, hospitals, and prisons) and to the needy. Expenditures for USDA Donated Commodities reported in the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards under AL #10.555, National School Lunch Program, represent surplus food consumed by the District during the year ended June 30, 2024.
