De Minimis Rate Used: Y Rate Explanation: The Foundation elected to use the 10 percent de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance for the year ended June 30, 2023 The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (“the Schedule”) includes the federal award activity of The Luis A. Ferré Foundation, Inc. ("the Foundation") under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2023. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (“Uniform Guidance”). During our compliance procedures performed over the Foundation’s reporting requirements, we noted that the Final Report of the grant funds received under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) for the period from October 2022 to June 2023, which was due on December 31, 2024, was filed on January 17, 2025.
