Accounting Policies: Basis of Presentation
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (“SEFA”) includes the federal grant activity of Waianae District Comprehensive Health and Hospital Board, Incorporated and Subsidiaries and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Unform Administrative Requirements, Costs Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (“Uniform Guidance”). Therefore, certain amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, this schedule may differ from amounts in the consolidated financial statements.

Rate Explanation: The Center has elected not to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
