Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (SEFA) includes the federal grant activity of the OrleansParish School Board (the School Board) and is presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The informationin this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations for FederalAwards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presentedin, or used in the preparation of, the basic financial statements.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate. Instead the School Board has an indirect cost rate as provided by the Louisiana Department of Education.
Nonmonetary assistance is reported in the schedule at the fair market value of the commodities received and disbursed.During the year ended June 30, 2022, the School Board received $393,374 in commodities.
