Rate Explanation: The District uses an indirect cost rate ranging from zero up to the restricted rate computed by the Colorado Department of Education. One grant allowed a slightly higher rate based upon the nonrestricted rate indirect cost rate.
The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards includes the federal grant activity of the Telluride School District R-1 and is presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2, US Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards ("Uniform Guidance"). Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may difffer from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of the general purpose financial statements.
