Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal, State, and City Awards are presented using the accrual basis of accounting. The amounts reported in this schedule as expenditures may differ from certain financial reports submitted to federal funding agencies due to those reports being submitted on either a cash or modified accrual basis of accounting.

Rate Explanation: The auditee did not use the de minimis cost rate.
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal, State, and City Awards present the activities in all the federal, state, and city award programs of The Salvation Army Greater Philadelphia Activities. All awards received directly from federal agencies, as well as awards passed through other governmental agencies are included on the schedule.
