Title: 3. SUBRECIPIENTS
Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal
grant activity of Alabama State Port Authority (the Authority) and is presented on the accrual basis
of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of
Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost
Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (the Uniform Guidance).
The $1,622,794 of eligible expenditures reported for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security
Disaster Grants- Public Assistance, Assistance Listing No. 97.036 on the Schedule for the year
ended September 30, 2024 were incurred in a prior year.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: The Authority did not elect to charge a de minimis rate of 10% for all federal awards.
The Authority did not pass through any portion of the amounts reported on the Schedule to subrecipients.
