Summary of Significant Accounting Policies Accounting Policies: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) includes the federal grant activity of Valley of the Sun United Way and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in the SEFA is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). There were no donated goods and personal protective equipment received from federal sources that required recognition or disclosure in the notes to the SEFA. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW) utilized the agreed upon indirect cost rate listed in the approved request for grant application and/or contract with pass-through entity and VSUW.
