Title: NOTE B – FOOD DISTRIBUTION Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal grant activity of Pointe Coupee Parish School Board and is presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the basic financial statements. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: During the year ended June 30, 2024, the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board did not elect to use the 10% de minimus cost rate as covered in §200.414 of the Uniform Guidance. Non-monetary assistance is reported in the schedule at the fair market value of the commodities received and disbursed. At June 30, 2024, the organization had food commodities totaling $12,695 in inventory. The value of commodities received and used during the period ended June 30, 2024 totaled $152,085.
