Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the Schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such
expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in Uniform Guidance, Cost
principles for Non-Profit Organizations, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or
are limited as to reimbursement.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: Mental Health America of Southeast Florida, Inc.’s indirect cost is significantly less than ten percent. The Organization did not elect to use the 10 percent de-minimis indirect cost rate.
The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the "Schedule") presents the activity
of all the programs of Mental Health America of Southeast Florida, Inc. (the "Organization") over
which the Organization exercised direct operating control for the year ended June 30, 2024. All federal
awards received during the year ended June 30, 2024, from federal agencies are included in this
Schedule.
