Title: BASIS OF PRESENTATION
Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the schedule are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principles contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement. Therefore, some amounts presented in the schedule may differ from amounts presented in the basic financial statements, which have been presented in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.
Catholic Charities does not provide any awards to sub recipients. Therefore, the schedule has no separate column for amounts awarded to sub recipients.
De Minimis Rate Used: N
Rate Explanation: Association of Food and Drug Officials has elected not to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards (the Schedule) includes the federal award activity of the Association of Food and Drug Officials under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2024.
