Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal grant activity of Community Services of Moses Lake, Inc. and is presented on the accrual basis of accounting as described in Note 1 to the basic financial statements.The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal RegulationsPart 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principals, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. CommunityServices of Moses Lake, Inc. uses the 10% de minimis cost rate as explained in the Uniform Guidance. The value of USDA foodcommodities received during the year was estimated by USDA. Because of the perishable nature of food commodities,Community Services of Moses Lake, Inc. distributes food as soon as it is received. No inventory of food is kept on hand.
