The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the “Schedule”) includes the federal grant activity of Baylor Scott & White Holdings and Its Controlled Affiliates (collectively referred to as the “System” or “BSWH”) and are presented on the accrual basis of accounting. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this Schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the consolidated financial statements of BSWH. Negative amounts represent adjustments made to amounts reported in the prior year in the normal course of business. BSWH uses its predetermined/negotiated indirect cost rate rather than the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate described in the Uniform Guidance. The Identifier Number included in the Schedule represents the pass through entity identifying number or other identifier.

The Schedule includes grant activity related to the Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS") Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act Assistance Listing Number 93.498. As required based on guidance in the 2024 OMB Compliance Supplement, the Schedule includes period 6 funds received between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 and expended by December 31, 2023 as reported to the Health Resources and Services Administration ("HRSA") via the Provider Relief Fund Reporting Portal.
