Title: PROGRAM REPORTING Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards includes the federal spending of the Santa Rosa Independent School District (the “District”) and is presented on the modified accrual basis of accounting. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of the Uniform Guidance. Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in preparation of, the basic financial statements. Because the schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the District, it is not intended to and does not represent the financial position of the District. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: Santa Rosa Independent School District has elected not to use the 10% of the minimis indirect cost under the Uniform Guidance. SHARS and $83,121 of indirect costs are accounted for in the general fund. The Child Nutrition Cluster Program and Child and Adult Care Food Program are accounted for in the General Fund. Expenditures are not specifically attributable to these revenues and are shown on this schedule in an amount equal to revenue for balancing purposes only. Grant monies received and disbursed by the District are for specific purposes and are subject to review by the grantor agencies. Such audits may result in requests for reimbursement due to disallowed expenditures. Based upon experience, the District does not believe that such disallowance, if any, would have a material effect on the financial position of the District.
