Title: NOTE A | BASIS OF PRESENTATION Accounting Policies: Parkway C-2 School District prepares its Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards on the modified accrual basis of accounting. Under the modified accrual basis of accounting, revenue is recorded when susceptible to accrual, i.e., both measurable and available. Available means collectible within the current period or soon enough thereafter to be used to pay liabilities of the current period. Expenditures are recroded when the related liabilities are incurred. De Minimis Rate Used: N Rate Explanation: The District has not elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance. The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (the Schedule) includes the federal grant activity of the Parkway C-2 School District under programs of the federal government for the year ended June 30, 2024. The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of the OMB Uniform Guidance. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the District, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net position or cash flows of the District.
