Accounting Policies: The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards presents the activity of the federal financial assistance programs of Clayton County Water Authority (the "Authority"). The Authority reporting entity is defined in Note 1: Summary of Significant Accounting Policies to the Authority's financial statements. Federal financial assitance received directly from federal agencies and federal assisitance passed through other government agencies are included on the schedule. The accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards is presented using the accrual basis of accounting for proprietary fund types as more fully described in Note 1: Summary of Significant Accounting Policies to the Authority's financial statements. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements of Federal AWards. Therefore, some amounts presented in the schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the preparation of, the basic financial statements. The Authority did not receive non-cash federal awards during the year ended April 30, 2024.
