Accounting Policies: GENERAL: The accompanying Schedule of Federal Awards presents the activity of all federal award programs of Riverbend Head Start & Family Services, Inc. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). BASIS OF ACCOUNTING: The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards is presented using the accrual basis of accounting. NONCASH ASSISTANCE, FEDERAL INSURANCE AND LOANS/LOAN GUARANTEES: The Organization did not receive any noncash assistance, federal guaranteed loans or federal insurance for any of its programs for the year ended December 31, 2023. SUBRECIPIENT MONITORING: The Organization did not pass through any portion of its federal funds to subrecipients during the year ended December 31, 2023. INDIRECT COST RATE: The Organization elected to use the de minimis indirect cost rate of 10%.
