The information in this Schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 US Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). All federal and state awards received directly and indirectly from federal and state agencies are included in this Schedule. Because the Schedule presents only a selected portion of the operations of the System, it is not intended to and does not present the financial position, changes in net assets or cash flows of the System.

The federal loan program listed subsequently are administered directly by the System and balances and transactions related to these programs are included in the System’s basic consolidated financial statements. Loans outstanding at the beginning of the year and loans during the year are included in the federal expenditures presented in the Schedule. The balance of the loan outstanding for Assistance Listing Number 14.128, Mortgage Insurance Hospital at December 31, 2023 was approximately $39,220,000.
