Accounting Policies: The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards presents the activity of all federal grant activity for the year ended December 31, 2023. The City uses the accrual basis or modified accrual basis of accounting as appropriate. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations, 2 CFR Part 200, Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts presented in, or used in the presentation of the basic financial statements. The City has elected not to use the 10 percent de minimus indirect cost rate as allowed under the Uniform Guidance.

Rate Explanation: The Auditee did not charge a de minimis indirect cost rate.
The accomanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards presents the activity of all federal financial assistance programs of the City of Golden (the City). The City's reporting entity is defined in Note 1 to the City's basic financial statements.
