The Organization’s accounting policies and procedures are defined in Note 1 to the basic financial statements. All federal awards received directly from federal agencies, as well as awards passed through other government agencies, have been included in the accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards. NOTE 2 BASIS OF ACCOUNTINGThe accompanying schedule of expenditures of federal awards has been prepared using the accrual method of accounting whereby grant revenues are recognized as expenditures are incurred. Separate accounts are maintained for the different awards to aid in the observance of limitations and restrictions imposed by the funding agencies. The information in this schedule is presented in accordance with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). De Minimis Rate Used: Y Rate Explanation: The auditee used the de minimis cost rate.
