Federal Way School District operates a “schoolwide program” in twenty-two (22) elementary buildings.
Using federal funding, schoolwide programs are designed to upgrade an entire educational program within a
school for all students, rather than limit services to certain targeted students. The following federal program
amounts were expended by the Federal Way School District in its schoolwide program: Title I, Part A (84.010)
($6,666,743.10).

In section 7402 of the American Rescue Plan Act, Congress established an Emergency Connectivity
Fund (ECF) and directed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide ECF support for the
purchase of eligible telecommunications and information services. In FY21-22, FCC approved $737,785.44.
Eligible expenditures incurred in FY22-23 were $728,097.35.
