Rate Explanation: NOTE 2 ‐ FEDERAL INDIRECT RATE
The University Place School District used up to the federal restricted rate of 3.91% or the non_x0002_restricted rate of 13.87% for all reimbursable grants. The University Place School District has not elected to use the 10% de minimis indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance.
The amount of food commodities reported on the schedule is the market value of commodities distributed by the District during the current year. The value is determined by the USDA.

As allowed by federal regulations, the University Place School District elected to transfer program funds. The district expended $63,088 from its Title IV, Part A grant, ALN 84.424 on allowable activities of the Title II, Part A grant, ALN #84.367.
