Title: Note 4 - Prior Year Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards Variance
Accounting Policies: Expenditures reported on the schedule of expenditures of federal awards are reported on the accrual basis of accounting. Such expenditures are recognized following the cost principals contained in the Uniform Guidance, wherein certain types of expenditures are not allowable or are limited as to reimbursement.
De Minimis Rate Used: Y
Rate Explanation: The Organization uses the ten percent de minimus indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance for several of its grants that allow it and has elected not to use the ten percent de minimus indirect cost rate allowed under the Uniform Guidance for all other grants.
Upon review of the schedule of expenditures of federal awards for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020, expenditures under the Targeted Response to Opioid Crises (CFDA No. 93.788) were understated by $20,694.53.
